HERE’S A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
After practicing Interior Architecture for 12 years I needed to change gears and opened up a retail arts + crafts store called Urban Arts + Crafts in Kansas City. For another 12 years I enjoyed teaching classes and selling beautiful fabrics, yarns, beads and papers to the Kansas City area. I closed the store December of 2015 and am now blogging and selling downloadable sewing patterns on Craftsy. (Click here for the link.)
Among the pictures on my blog you’ll see my shy hubby who helps me make things and my two very curious cats. And you’ll get to see all parts of me here, the serious, the funny and the downright goofy. Because I am a dork. But I hope when you search through the projects that what you see most of all, is inspiration.
AND A LITTLE BIT OF WHAT I DO
AND WHY I ALWAYS PICK THE THIMBLE
When you are crafty, you tend to have crafty friends. Playing Monopoly with crafty friends can cause a little strife over who ultimately gets the thimble playing piece, but my non-crafty friends know that the thimble is mine. All mine.
